However, challenges remain, including a lack of large-scale coordination, low consumer awareness, and a skilled workforce. Installing heat pumps can be financially daunting for low-income households and those who rent, including those in older homes with poor insulation and lacking central heating. To overcome these barriers, the partnership plans to launch a statewide campaign, using media, influencers, and digital tools to raise awareness, and will focus on training installers and positioning them as advocates for the technology.
