Daikin Europe has introduced a new concealed floor-standing unit to its VRV 5 R32 heat pump range, which incorporates advanced technology to ensure safety and installation versatility. The unit features Daikin’s Shîrudo technology, which includes a leak detection sensor, visual and audible alarm, and shut-off values in the outdoor unit or SV box to meet IEC60335-2-40 requirements. The new design adopts an integral airflow circulation principle, allowing for installation versatility similar to wall-mounted and cassette units. The unit is optimized for R32 refrigerant and has a high external static pressure of up to 55Pa, allowing for discreet integration with only the suction and discharge grilles visible. The compact design, with a depth of only 200mm and a low height of 620mm, makes it easy to install beneath windows or on walls.
