BioSpan Technologies has signed an exclusive regional distribution deal with Coast Pavement Services to promote its sustainable pavement preservation solutions in the Pacific Northwest. Coast Pavement Services will market, sell, and service BioSpan’s products, including RePlay, a carbon-negative asphalt preservation treatment made from 88% renewable materials. The partnership aims to reduce lifecycle maintenance costs by up to 50% while shrinking project CO₂ footprints, aligning with agencies’ net-zero and climate-resilient infrastructure goals.

The deal follows a successful trial of RePlay at the Port of Portland’s 1.7-million-square-foot vehicle yard, where it improved pavement durability and reduced maintenance costs. Coast Pavement Services, founded in 1969, is a full-service paving and preservation firm committed to sustainable practices. BioSpan Technologies, established in 1993, manufactures patented, agriculture-based chemistries for preserving and protecting asphalt, concrete, and other surfaces. The partnership is expected to drive growth and adoption of sustainable pavement preservation solutions in the region.
