CEAT Ltd has launched a new line of passenger car tyres called CIRCL, featuring up to 90% sustainable, bio-based materials. The limited edition tyres are available in two variants, priced at ₹8,999 and ₹12,999, and will be sold in 10 metropolitan cities through CEAT’s online platform and selected retail outlets. The tyres are compatible with electric vehicles and SUVs. According to Lakshmi Narayanan, Chief Marketing Officer at CEAT, the launch is part of a five-year roadmap to create awareness and interest around sustainable tyre options. The company plans to increase production based on market response and may introduce the sustainable tyre range in international markets in the future. CEAT is a leading tire manufacturer in India, known for its innovative and durable tire solutions, and is committed to safety, fuel efficiency, and sustainability. The CIRCL range marks the company’s entry into the sustainable tyre segment.
