Copeland, a company, has announced a strategic investment in BlueHeart Energy, a Netherlands-based startup that is developing a new type of heat pump technology. This technology, known as a thermo-acoustic engine, does not use refrigerants and allows for a compact and quiet design, making it particularly suitable for smaller homes. The investment will help BlueHeart bring its technology to market readiness and will receive support from Copeland in areas such as product development, market insights, customer engagement, and access to established sales channels. The European Innovation Council Fund has also joined as a strategic investor, further demonstrating the potential of BlueHeart’s technology. This partnership aims to drive the global energy transition and deliver efficient, sustainable heating solutions worldwide. The collaboration will enable the development of a new type of heat pump that is environmentally friendly and reduces carbon emissions.
