Manufacturers are increasingly prioritizing sustainability, including the use of eco-friendly adhesives. Four new adhesives are featured, made from plant-based or natural materials. The Super Glue Ultra+ is a cyanoacrylate adhesive made from 60% bio-based materials, bonding various materials including wood, metal, and plastic. ThreeBond 1539 is a flexible urethane adhesive produced from plant-based materials, curing at low temperatures and resisting vibration and impact.

Other adhesives include the Permabond ET5164, a two-part epoxy adhesive safe for food contact, and the EC-1019, a thermally conductive epoxy potting compound that resists cracking and has excellent heat dissipation. These adhesives offer benefits such as fast curing times, high shear strength, and resistance to water and chemicals. They can be used in various applications, including bonding, sealing, and potting, and are suitable for industries such as food, electronics, and automotive. Companies such as Bostik, Threebond International, Permabond Engineering Adhesives, and EpoxySet Inc. will showcase these products at The ASSEMBLY Show.
