A seven-day training program on precision agriculture technology has begun at the Punjab Agricultural University’s Department of Soil and Water Engineering, under the National Committee on Precision Agriculture and Horticulture (NCPAH). The program is being conducted by the Precision Farming Development Centre (PFDC) in Ludhiana and is open to farmers from Punjab and other states. The aim of the training is to equip farmers with skills in precision agriculture, including greenhouses management, to enhance productivity and boost yields sustainably. The chief guest, Dr. Sarbjit Singh Sooch, urged farmers to take advantage of the opportunity to learn and implement precision agricultural technologies, which have the potential to revolutionize farming practices and increase yields. The program is expected to have a positive impact on the agricultural sector, making it more efficient and sustainable.
