Sineng Electric has successfully installed and operated a 75MW/300MWh Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) project in Xinjiang, China, which has been running reliably since its commissioning in March 2025. The project is designed to enhance grid stability and support the integration of renewable energy sources. The VRFB system utilizes Sineng Electric’s 1375kW central Power Conversion System (PCS), which operates across a wide DC voltage range of 700-1500V, ensuring high efficiency, stability, and reliability in challenging environments. The energy storage power station has been instrumental in peak shaving and frequency regulation, mitigating demand spikes and ensuring a continuous power supply. The project also enables the integration of intermittent renewable energy sources, contributing to the region’s energy transition and providing stable, dispatchable power. Sineng Electric’s customized energy storage solutions are designed to meet the evolving energy needs of customers, supporting large-scale decarbonization efforts.
