Fife College’s Dunfermline campus will host a free event on March 25th from 12-2pm, where Fife plumbers and heating engineers can learn about installing heat pumps. The event, organized by Fife Climate Hub and partners, will feature experts from IMS and SNIPEF sharing insights on the future of heat pumps and the skills needed to install them. Heat pump installer Scott Clark from IMS will discuss common myths and misconceptions about heat pumps, including the idea that they are expensive to run and won’t work in Scotland’s climate. The event is open to anyone studying or working in the plumbing and heating trades, and will provide lunch and assistance with travel costs.
