Tata AutoComp Systems and Katcon Global have formed a joint venture to manufacture advanced composites for the North American market. Katcon Global, a global supplier to the automotive industry, brings operational excellence and regulatory expertise, while Tata AutoComp contributes technological leadership and customer relationships. The two companies have a decade-long collaboration for exhaust systems and emission after-treatment solutions. According to Arvind Goel, Vice Chairman of Tata AutoComp, the company is contributing core technology, including proprietary formulations and in-house capabilities for composite compounds and sheet manufacturing. Carlos Turner, CEO of Katcon, believes the partnership will deliver innovative, lightweight solutions to address the evolving needs of the North American automotive market.
