The scheme’s popularity grew in 2024, with 78% more vouchers issued in December compared to the previous year. According to MCS’s data, 2024 saw a record 60,000 heat pump installations, a 43% increase from 2023. The £7,500 grant makes low-carbon heating more affordable and accessible for consumers, and the requirement for MCS certification ensures the quality and performance of the installations.
